Just when it couldn’t get any worse for Cleveland, the worst happens.
Well, according to Mary Schmitt Boyer of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, Anderson Varejao is out for the season with a torn tendon on his right leg.
We know what Varejao can do. He’s a great defensive player and one of the few bright spots of this hapless Cavalier roster. And if they were thinking of moving him… well, it’s hard to move a player who is out for the season.
What can you say at this point, right? All you can just say is, “Well, it’s Cleveland. Everything bad happens to their sporting teams.”
Get well soon, Anderson… and Cleveland.
