Joe Johnson threw this up perfectly for Josh Smith — but then again, Smith can catch anything right? — as he puts down the nasty alley-oop dunk.

Al Horford Posterizes Tim Duncan, 3-21, Video. Tim Duncan has been posterized a lot over the years, but you have to hand it to him. He is actually trying to stop these dunks. Al was coming at the rim full blast with only one thought, and that singular thought was to dunk with authority. Tim put his hand up, and it did not slow Horford down at all. Everything was already set in motion. He was going to dunk no matter what. Timmy was just in the way.

As the NBA Playoffs approach, today we bring you the five best dressed sixth men among the playoff contenders (with apologies to Kevin Love of the Timberwolves and Carl Landry of the Kings and all others on non-contenders):
Despite playing just over 24 or so minutes per game, Odom still pounds in around 10 points and 9 rebounds. With either Kobe Bryant or Pau Gasol out, the numbers inflate, then retreat once the Lakers are playing on FULL. A talented swingman who can rebound, hit threes, play hard D and be quietly efficient when not needed to be outstanding is tough to find in this league: Odom plays his role to the hilt.
Despite early-season injuries, Ginobili is returning to past form. February and March saw him averaging 18 and 19 PPG respectively. Most importantly, that poise and veteran experience off the bench is a difference-maker for the San Antonio Spurs.
Scoring over twenty points per game this past month, Crawford has helped the Atlanta Hawks this season with 18 points per game overall. Strong ammo coming off the bench.
When you mention the Denver Nuggets, no one mentions anyone but Billups and ‘Melo. But this guy is pounding down an average of two triples a game and almost 18 ppg in March, his best month so far. And this takes the starch out of your second unit, believe me.
This rook’s gone crazy! In February almost 20 points per game, March even better. Not too shabby for a first-year guy. And especially noticeable as he’s usually the first or second-leading scorer on a depleted New Orleans Hornets roster.

Not a bad way to score your first NBA points — with a dunk over Josh Smith. But that is exactly what Alonzo Gee, formerly of the D-League, did when he was given some court time for the Washington Wizards during his 10-day contract call-up.

Why do Dominique Wilkins and Patrick Ewing Hate Isiah Thomas. Well, they hate him because he “Debos” the last Minute Maid when you are playing 1 on 1. What’s up with that?
