Lebron's was basically just a fallaway and the backboard happened to be in the way. Kobe's was one-handed, off one foot, and he got hit. No question which one is better here.

Lebron is further out of bounds, it's a turnaroud jumper, and he has only a split second to size it up.

Kobe is already coming to a stop (from a defender's push that wasnt called) and has a few seconds to size up the rim.

Lebron wins level of difficulty.

Kobe's was way better. I HATE Kobe and the Lakers also, but Kobe was not only fouled when he shot it (which forced him to take the shot in the first place) but he was also closer to the basket, meaning the shot had to arc higher in order to go in. Lebron pivoted to that position on the court behind the basket, which gave him an open jumper. He probably practiced that shot a thousand times before taking it in the game.
